Stockroom Inventory Coordinator

Position Overview:

Assist Department Supervisor and Stockroom inventory team as needed, to receive, inspect and put away component parts. Perform routine inventory cycle counts. This position will report directly to the Supervisor of Inventory and will have the responsibility for supporting the receiving and warehouse personnel daily.

Responsibilities:

• Receiving part deliveries and entering in inventory control system
• Managing stock rotation accurately – apply (First in First Out) FIFO principles
• Understanding of cycle counting and inventory (Work in Process) W.I.P
• Reconcile inventory discrepancies.
• Ensure accuracy of data in system including location, quantity on hand, value, etc.
• Work with purchasing department for returns of incorrect or damaged material.
• Follow-up with suppliers and obtain proof of delivery for all drop shipments.
• Maintain all incoming SDS sheets making sure they are current and stored in the master book along with forwarding revised copies to the appropriate departments.
• Meet with Supervisor weekly to discuss any outstanding issues.
• Must be able to move and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Follow company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPS)

Qualifications:

• High school diploma required. Associates Degree in business a plus
• Three years minimum experience in an electronics manufacturing company or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Full understanding of FIFO principles and ability to apply when pulling parts from stock
• Mathematical ability required
• Computer ability required
• Familiar with ERP systems
• Experience in NetSuite a plus
• Familiar with RF Smart software for stocking inventory and inventory movement
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook

Position: Full-time/Non-Exempt. Onsite/in-person.
