Job Objective: Efficiently receive incoming finished good product from manufacturing and organize the inventory for efficient movement
Essential Job Functions:
- Operate powered industrial equipment (forklifts and electrical pallet jacks).
- Pick and pack materials per customer orders and requirements.
- Efficiently receive incoming Finished Goods and match with its packing slip and efficiently organize the inventory on the shelves.
- Match outbound freight with its required paperwork and load it accordingly and efficiently.
- Perform daily cycle counts on inventory. Must be able to meet performance standards.
Job Qualifications:
- One year related experience.
- Certification in Hazardous Communications, Lockout / Tagout and Forklift operations(or certification within 30 days).
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work cooperatively with all plant departments.
- Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to read, write, and understand basic math.
- Ability to do self-pace learning including book, web-base and classroom participation. English speaking preferred.
Desired: Self motivator, an individual with the drive and determination to excel in the position. A person willing to take on new tasks once all others have been mastered.
