Stock Clerk Job at JP Logistics & Consulting
Job Duties:
- Receives, stores, and issues equipment, material, supplies, merchandise, and other goods and compiles stock records of items in the stockroom, warehouse, or storage facilities.
- Counts, sorts, or weighs incoming articles to verify receipt of items on requisition or invoice. Examines stock to verify conformance to specifications.
- Stores articles in bins, on floors, or on shelves, according to identifying information, such as style, size, or type of material. Filles orders or issued supplies from stock.
- Prepares periodic special or perpetual inventory of stock. Requisition articles to fill incoming orders.
- Compiles reports on the use of stock handling equipment, adjustments of inventory count and stock records, spoilage of or damage of stock, location changes, and refusals of shipment.
- Utilizes identifying codes, figures, or letters on articles.
- Distributes stock among production workers, keeping records of materials issued.
- Makes adjustments or repairs to inventory when required.
- KCC, pick & stow.
- Picklist, picks, stows, research for the picklist.
- Research, receipt line, frustrated material.
- Picklist, packer station, stow, pick, research.
- Picks, receipt line, picklist.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Familiar with the use of DSS, MCPALMS, WMS, and other systems in the performance of warehouse operations.
- Must be proficient in reading and capable of communicating effectively in English verbally and in writing.
- Basic knowledge and skills required to plan, control, manage, and be responsible for the successful completion of the work.
- Record-keeping techniques.
- Interpersonal skills using tact, patience, and courtesy.
- Able to pass background checks and drug screening.
- Complete all required government and contractor required training.
- Possess basic math and computer skills.
- Able to pass a physical if required.
- Able to stand, bend, lift, and walk for extended periods.
- Comply with state and federal laws.
Education and Experience :
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 4 years of related experience.
Experience/ Education and Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum high school diploma / GED or equal relevant experience of 3 plus years.
- Able to pass a background investigation/drug screen.
