An opening currently exists for a Stock Attendant Third Class. Location: Willow Grove, PA .
The applicant selected to fill this position will be required to:
- Must have experience in water works inventory and be capable of identifying stock associated with this job.
- Must be available for overtime and call-outs to issue material and perform physical inventory.
- Must be familiar with paperwork routine as required.
- Must be able to manually load, unload and lift material (up to 100 lbs.).
- Maintain a valid Pennsylvania Driver's License with DOT Medical Certification.
- Ability to operate fork-lift and maintain OSHA certification.
- Must be capable of working independently.
- Must be able to perform data entry using various programs via tablet, laptop and desktop computers.
- Must be able to report to various Stores locations as required.
- Must be able to understand and follow safe work practices as described by company policy and OSHA compliance requirements.
- Maintains stock levels in stores area in conjunction with receiving goods and monitoring such inventories with the aid of computerized processes. We currently use Lawson and Dossier for inventory controls.
- Prepares materials to meet the daily needs of the field employees and duly checks out the supplies. Assures accurate record keeping for each transaction.
- Verifies quantity and description of inventory materials ordered and received by checking merchandise against packing list. Returns inventory items if item is incorrect or damaged and records any discrepancies.
- Creates and maintains organization of stock on shelves and designated locations in the stores area. Labels all inventory materials and supplies and utilizes computerized process to facilitate this function.
The hourly rate of pay is $36.67 ##
A written examination will be given along with a field test.

Employees who drive a DOT vehicle over 17,000, but under 26,001 do not need a CDL, but must obtain a DOT Medical Card (DOT Physical).
##All employees hired or entering the bargaining unit on or after December 1, 2003 will receive three dollars ($3.00) per hour less than the classification wage rate. The wage reduction will be returned in one-dollar ($1.00) increases once a year over a three (3) year period. Employee will receive annual contract increases.
