Millennium Skate World, located at 1900 Carman Street in Camden, NJ, 08105 is seeking a dynamic and personable educator to join our groundbreaking STEM educational program. Our family entertainment center offers roller and in-line skating, state of the art sound and light, a large game arcade, a novelty redemption shop, STEM Educational Field Trips, a pizza café and the greatest birthday parties in town!
The STEM educator will build, refine, and present STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) lesson plans to students ranging from kindergarten to high school. Our copyrighted STEM educational programs are conducted in groups of 50 to 250 and utilize state of the art video and audio technology.
The Ideal candidate will possess the following skills/qualities:
- An outstanding, outgoing and animated personality
- A passion for education and STEM topics
- An engaging and entertaining stage presence
- A creative mind and a strong ability to improvise
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office with a strong emphasis on PowerPoint
- A keen talent to relate STEM concepts to everyday life
- Experience within the STEM field(s) a plus
- Availability Monday-Friday during school hours. Days and times will vary based on bookings.
- Reliable transportation required.
