Stainless Steel Pipe Welder and/or Pipe Fitter – Summary: Lexington, KY area-based company with multi-state industrial construction projects has an immediate need for an Stainless Steel Pipe Welder. We specialize in Stainless Steel fabrication where GMP and BIO-PHARM finishes are required and we pride ourselves in this aspect of our work. Our team is comprised of top-notch welders, pipe fitters, millwrights and drafters who can put together any size project and showcase our ability to perform in high value situations.

Duties will include, but not limited to: ·

• The candidate is responsible for performing assigned tasks and projects as designated within the shop or job. ·
• Operations and set up of MIG, TIG and Arc welding equipment. ·
• Finishing and polishing Stainless Steel welds. ·
• Operate and maintain various power tools and shop equipment including but not limited to pipe benders, threaders, band saws, and grinders. ·
• Reading and interpreting sketches / drawings. · P&ID's
• Fabricate to drawing tolerances and customer specifications. ·
• Simple fabrication-stands, hangers, i.e.
• Self-directed individual & team-worker. ·
• Accountable for the safe performance of personnel and equipment on their job sites. ·
• Compliance with the company tool policy and ability to pass these values to junior employees.
• Ability to complete paperwork and daily reports, next week’s plans, accident reports, disciplinary reports, etc. as needed.
• Apprenticeship programs available.

Requirements:

• Ability to work out of the company’s Mount Sterling, KY factories and travel to work-sites as needed.
• Stainless steel root and cap.
• Orbital welding set-up not mandatory but a plus.
• Stainless Steel tube experience a plus. Experience with remote a plus.
• Self-motivated and able to work alone and in small teams.
• Must be capable of handling heavy objects.
• Welders needed both locally and willing to travel out-of-state.
• Pre-employment drug screening required.
• Stainless Steel Pipe Weld test in Lexington KY area.
• Maintain a clean organized working environment ·
• Ability to function effectively in a team environment and work independently.
• Complies with and promotes the company’s Safety Policy.
• Ability to pass a full background check and drug screening.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, squat, bend, stoop, climb and comfortably lift up to 70 lbs.
• Willingness to travel as needed based on project needs (may include overnight travel).
