Are you an energetic leader that enjoys motivating a large team of engaged caregivers? As the Staffing/Admin manager for Jovie Childcare of Concord, Newton, Wellesley, MetroWest, South Shore and Rhode Island, you guide the engagement and success of our nanny + sitter team. You will lead, manage, and be accountable for team scheduling, team engagement, fill rates, payroll reports, and parent satisfaction of care. You will work closely with our Role Model Manager to manage our internal Slack account for our team of caregivers, along with our Facebook, Instagram, and Google accounts. In this position, you work independently but closely with our small (but mighty) leadership team!

We offer a comprehensive training of our franchise model, internal systems, staffing system, incentive and training programs ; this will be your first three weeks of paid time on the job.

Schedule: You are guaranteed to work 40 hours per week and do require the ability to communicate with the team on weekends.

Work hours: Sunday-Thursday from 12pm-8:30pm (ability to work from home 2-3 days per week, in office other days). Fridays and Saturdays off

Our office is in Acton, MA at Village Works, 525 Massachusetts Ave.

Compensation:

  • $44,000 -54,000 annually,, depending on experience
  • Eligible for annual pay increase dependent on performance review
  • 3 sick/personal days
  • 5 days of paid time off
  • Paid Holidays: Memorial Day, New Year’s Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day

What you do:

  • Order fulfillment for all service lines (scheduling, approximately 60% of your day)
  • Coordination of employees into the Role Model Match™ placement process
  • Supervision and retention of Role Models including scheduling and ongoing needs analysis
  • Communicate with our clients to receive feedback
  • Review/approve timesheets, caregiver daily notes, and compile payroll reports
  • Help to coordinate, run and manage ongoing employee meet-ups, trainings and events
  • Consistent use of internal tools to include scheduling, communication notes, order creation, family/employee profile updates

Ability to professionally represent company’s marketing messaging and brand promise of Building Stronger Families® in our community
  • Strategic Thinking: ability to influence others, work independently effectively, provide feedback and develop potential in others. High capability of rational risk-taking and decision-making
  • Social Media Knowledge: ability to update pages, manage postings and reviews
  • Group Development Skills: ability to facilitate groups, manage teams, resolve conflicts and solve problems for nanny employees and family clients
  • Communication Skills: ability to listen to others, provide appropriate feedback, communicate professionally to develop and maintain successful work relationships. Demonstrated ability for effective report writing and presentation skills

Qualifications:

  • Combination of education and at least 1 year of applicable experience, leading teams through scheduling and proactive communication
  • Preference given to candidates with experience with scheduling/admin/office management
  • Computer and technology proficient with demonstrated aptitude using Microsoft Office or other business applications and software and strong knowledge of all social media platforms
  • Social Media skills a plus, ability to manage Slack, Facebook, Instagram accounts

Office Environment:

  • Ability to travel locally to work at our office in Acton, MA
