JOB OVERVIEW
We are currently hiring a Scheduler who is a Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and has a desire to empower resident’s lives with purpose and passion and to be part of an award winning, “Great Employers” recipient, long-term care community.
In collaboration with our healthcare team, you will ensure adequate and appropriate staffing of the assisted living, provide nursing clerical support and assist our residents with activities of daily living.
Our nursing team members are inspiring and dedicated professionals that serve our residents with integrity and compassion.
Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant with the State of MN.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure adequate and appropriate staffing of the assisted living
- Provide clerical support to the nursing department
- Serve as a mentor and key trainer to newly hired Nursing Assistants
- Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting them with personal care and daily living activities.
- Document services performed on computerized charting system.
- Observe resident and report any changes in physical and emotional condition such as change in attitude, reaction, and appetite, to the supervisor.
- Perform additional tasks as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Intermediate computer skills
- High level of patience, empathy, and compassion
- Completion of state-approved CNA education and training program.
- Excellent observation and communication skills
- Able to perform the essential functions of this job utilizing safety measures and procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with staff and residents.
- Knowledge and understanding of Resident’s Bill of Rights.
