Staff/Senior Accountant - Nonprofit Job at Leeds Resources
We are seeking a senior accountant with full-cycle accounting to work at our national nonprofit organization. This position is fully in office and 9 to 5.
Responsibilities:
- G/L work, reconciliations, assistance with AP.
- Maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts.
- Month-end closings, journal entries, account reconciliations and variance analyses.
- GAAP Financial Reporting.
- Manage AP, processing invoices and all methods of payments.
- Oversee outsourced accounting team.
- Performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Meeting processing and reporting deadlines.
- Responding to information requests, reviewing financial statements, and assisting with audits.
- Analyze sales transactions, pricing, bank activity.
- Assist with process and procedure improvements.
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration.
- 5+ years of accounting or finance experience.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks.
- Working knowledge of GAAP.
- Good problem-solving, analytical and time management skills.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Team player and good culture fit.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $82,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
