This family is hiring for day, evening and overnight shifts. Health benefits and paid time off available to full time employees.

DAYS: Provides 1:1 supports towards independence in both the home and community. Due to on-going medical issues changes in daily schedule happen frequently so flexibility and creativity is a must. Applicant must be able to work unsupervised and be self-motivated to support this young lady to reach her most independent potential , with a focus on goals. Some personal care. Experience in Augmentative communication a huge plus. Client uses I pad Speech application. HRS: 8:30am – 3:30pm/4:00pm with commitment to at least one weekend day monthly.
A FTERNOON/EVENINGS: Provides 1:1 support in the home and community. During Non-Covid there is a couple of evening activities monthly. Most of the time is in the home providing 1:1 support towards independence. Flexibility and creativity a must. Personal care such as showering. Experience in Augmentative communication a huge plus. Client uses I Pad Speech application. HRS: 3:30pm/4:00 pm 9/10pm with commitment to one weekend day per month.
OVERNIGHT: Provides 1:1 support in home preparing for bed. This is an overnight awake position; client needs monitoring while sleeping. While client is asleep there is scheduled household chores such as folding laundry, wiping down surfaces, floors, some food prep. HRS: 9:00pm/10:00pm – 6:00am with a commitment to one weekend night per month staying until 8:30am.
Pay Range: $17.50-$19.50/hour
COVID-19 Considerations: Household that takes the Covid-19 threat very seriously. Household is still primarily staying at home and practicing social distancing when possible along with wearing face covering when going into the community as much as possible.

We are looking for a Personal Support Staff to work with an individual in their home with intensive support needs. We are hiring multiple staff to provide care across all shifts.
In the Self-Directed Services program, families in Strafford County manage their own services (including staffing) for a family member who has a developmental disability, intellectual disability or a traumatic brain injury. The employee will work out of the family home and the family is the Managing Supervisor with Community Partners as the Employer of Record.
The ideal candidate will also have experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in education, and should be comfortable identifying and meeting support needs and problem solving.
All candidates must pass a background check which includes, but is not limited to, criminal and driving records.
