Geotechnical Engineer (PE) in Denver, CO

We are seeking a Geotechnical Engineer (PE) to join our fast-growing geotechnical and geological services firm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing geotechnical engineering design, project proposal and management duties, developing project scopes and schedules, and supporting marketing and business development efforts. The successful candidate must be able to provide high client service, produce quality work, and meet deadlines. This position offers a flexible work environment with options to work from home and a sign-on bonus potential based on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Perform geotechnical engineering design, project proposal and management duties with integrity and a drive to succeed.
  • Process design calculations, develop project scopes and schedules, and travel to job sites for observation.
  • Support marketing and business development efforts, supervise/direct professionals and technical staff, and promote efficiencies in producing quality work.
  • Ensure high client service by providing constructible designs, meeting deadlines and creating clear communications with our clients.
  • Conduct subsurface investigations and geotechnical lab testing.
  • Perform geotechnical/geological engineering in areas such as earthwork, deep and shallow foundations, earth retention systems, floor systems, flexible and rigid pavement designs, slope and rock stability, landslide and rock fall mitigation, and forensic evaluations/engineering.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in civil/geotechnical engineering.
  • Must be a registered professional engineer.
  • 5+ years of related geotechnical analysis and design experience.
  • Desire to lead an established geotechnical team.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to contribute and work well on a team.
  • Passionate about working collaboratively with others and having ownership in the work you do.
  • The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.

Salary Range: $80-$100k

Schedule: Monday – Friday (40-50hrs/week)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
