Staff Accountant Description:
Currently seeking a Staff Accountant for a position at a CPA firm located in southern Fairfield County as our firm continues to grow!
The CPA firm has been in business for over thirty years and provides professional tax and accounting services for a diversified client base, including high net worth individuals, privately held businesses and not-for-profit organizations. The firm has a culture that drives professional development, independence and career advancement. We are searching for candidates who will be a long-term asset to our dynamic team.
Staff Accountant Primary Responsibilities:
- Preparation of all types of tax returns (including business, individual, estate, trusts)
- Tax planning for business and individuals
- Audit, compilation and review of non-profit and for-profit organizations
- Assist clients with tax audits and IRS or state correspondence
- Business consulting and special projects
Staff Accountant Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting
- 0-3 years of diversified public accounting experience
- CPA certified or in process of pursuing is a plus
Salary determined based upon experience.
