Staff Accountant

NSC Technologies is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our Corporate Finance & Accounting Team in Atlanta, Georgia. Staff Accountant Description:

Responsibilities:

• Record journal entries and play a critical role in the monthly close process
• Own all accounting activities related to assigned areas, which may include, but is not limited to, cash, prepaids, fixed assets, accounts payable, and accrued expenses
• Complete accurate and timely balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis
• Perform P&L analysis for assigned division(s) and operating expenses to assist with month/year-end close reviews
• Assist in other areas of finance and accounting to include, but not limited to, billing, cash posting, treasury, financial analysis, and accounts payable processing
• Create various financial reports and analysis on a regular basis

Skills/Qualifications/Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2-3 years of accounting/finance experience
• Exceptional attention to detail and drive for accuracy and timeliness
• Collaboration and teamwork
• Upbeat and positive attitude and a determined and perseverant spirit
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with constantly changing demands and priorities
• Ability to write clear process documents and drive procedural efficiency and effectiveness
