What does a Staff Accountant do for Bonaventure?
- Completion of account reconciliations
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Preparation and posting of general journal entries
- Perform month-end close
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Prepare month end and year end financials
- Prepare packages to be sent to CPAs for tax returns
- Miscellaneous and special projects as needed and assigned
Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills with a strong attention to detail
- Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work independently as well as with a team
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- 10-key and typing skills
- Highly organized and sensitive to confidentiality
Experience & Education:
- Two years of formal college level accounting education or Accounting Degree preferred
- Prior experience in the processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll entries and general ledger transactions is a plus.
