Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain several Layer 2/3 network testbeds.
- Depending on interests and capability, we may grow towards automation or manual tests.
- Work with manager to develop test plans and test cases.
- Execute test plan and test cases and document results.
- Reproducing and supporting customer issues.
- Support field deployment.
- Analyze packets, logs, and pinpoint root causes.
- File Jira tickets on failed test cases and bugs found.
- Work with developers and drive solutions.
- Lead related QA meetings, participate in discussions, and provide status reports.
Qualifications:
- Thorough Understanding from Layer 2 Switching to Layer 3 Routing, SD-WAN.
- Knowledge in Juniper JUNOS and SRX and EX Switch, or Juniper 128T SSR.
- Experience with Linux OS.
- Experience level: 5~8 years.
- BA/BS/MS in EECS or related subject area.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Juniper Router & Switch Certifications is a strong plus
- Experience in Traffic Generation Tools.
- Knowledge in 802.1x is a plus
- Knowledge in Python is a plus
Minimum Salary: $159,200.00
Maximum Salary:$228,850.00
The pay range for this position is expected to be between $159,200.00 and $228,850.00/year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
Juniper’s pay range data is provided in accordance with local state pay transparency regulations. Juniper may post different minimum wage ranges for permanent residency petitions pursuant to US Department of Labor requirements.
