Sr. Program Manager, Partner Marketing Programs

Expedia Group is recruiting for a Sr. Program Manager to build and optimize Partner Programs focused on delivering incremental business to our supply partners and providing key benefits to travelers through EG’s traveler trust and loyalty programs in our Conventional Lodging and Vacation Rental lines of business. As a subject matter expert in program development, you will reshape how our partners leverage our partner-facing marketing programs. In addition, you will be accountable for driving the delivery of business solutions that improve processes, surface measurable insights, and support executive decision-making along the way.

We are looking for a dynamic program manager who has a track record of out-of-the-box thinking to prove hypotheses and provide paths to iterative improvements concentrating on delivering value along the way. Cross-team collaboration is an essential part of this role. You will influence other teams with compelling business cases that drive continued program enhancements.


Expedia Group aims to drive great experiences for travelers by enabling supply and demand partners to optimize their business with levers that amplify their revenue strategies. Through targeted programs, partners can leverage traveler trust signals, price and non-price traveler incentives, and flexible full-scale distribution options to maximize their performance in Expedia Group’s marketplace. Partners are selected to participate in these initiatives based on criteria determined by the Sr. Program Manager, with support from Programs leadership. The team manages multiple programs across Expedia Group including VIP Access, Premier Host, Expedia Live, Rev+, Market Maker, and other to-be-announced programs.

What you'll do:

  • Generate, drive, and execute program strategy in alignment with objectives of partner programs using competitive intelligence and data to support decision making

  • Design program gives and gets, ensuring balancing with the broader program's portfolio

  • Be the primary point person for assigned initiatives; build project plans and roadmaps; identify project tasks, dependencies, and owners

  • Establish roles, responsibilities, and decision rights across core working group teams; resolve blockers

  • Manage self and teammates to plans; update as factors change, be creative in sourcing alternatives and drive to clarify any root causes of change

  • Ensure key stakeholder groups are represented at meetings and working sessions; identify and engage area owners as appropriate

  • Understand key processes and desired outcomes across Programs at a high level

  • Provide regular, clear, and concise status updates to stakeholders and cross-functional teams

  • Develop and maintain a resource for key project artifacts, including Program materials and playbooks

  • Communication, presentation & influencing, workstream management

  • Possess excellent presentation and influencing skills; can present and simplify sophisticated concepts to both executive leadership and cross functional teams ensuring investment resources into program development are appropriately allocated

  • Own the overall program strategy and suite of tactics needed to drive program adoption including leading the charge to create new capabilities against aggressive business goals

  • Confidently convey business concepts to stakeholders via clear, concise, and organized communication materials (e.g., policies & procedures, guidelines, presentations, messages)

  • Consider and understand B2B and B2C audience’s specific needs and comprehension level to determine the most appropriate message and delivery method, limiting or explaining technical language

  • Evaluate existing processes and urge out-of-the-box thinking to drive improvement to all functions and programs by challenging the status quo and pushing for improvements to our operations, systems, and ways of thinking

  • Gain stakeholder trust via a deep understanding of their broader business challenges and drive to solutions by effectively addressing their concerns to further long-term interests

  • Keep relevant stakeholders informed of progress toward or changes to timing that impacts the program deliverables schedule

  • Build strong relationships with program stakeholders and influence timely decision making

  • Develop project schedule, define timeframe, and prioritize tasks to achieve project milestones and deliver intended objectives

  • Monitor progress in meeting project milestones, timelines, specifications, and requirements

  • Proactively manage risk, working with the team to anticipate new threats and lead mitigation planning

  • Manage programs through E4B Marketing’s Go to Market lifecycle management process

Who you are:

  • Extensive Program Management experience owning data-driven decisions using the competitive landscape, roadmap planning, and the ability to work autonomously

  • Proven experience, with minimum 5 years in a PM role, overseeing the launch & day-to-day performance of cross-functional initiatives with supporting teams in different locations

  • Experience with go-to-market lifecycle management

  • Expert understanding of marketing program design and strategy

  • Experience in B2B partner management and/or the travel industry

  • Ability to optimize marketing strategies to meet the needs of the program

  • Highly organized and able to adapt to changing needs with excellent attention to detail

  • Demonstrated strong influencing skills and can connect team goals with broader Expedia Group & Expedia for Business initiatives

  • Strong verbal and written communicator, who can share information and ideas, listens carefully, and considers differing viewpoints

  • Expertise in problem-solving, project coordination, planning, process development, and improvement skills

  • Passionate with a focused commitment to the needs of our travelers, partners, and internal colleagues

  • Strong analytical skills, including trending, forecasting, and performance management

  • PMP certification preferred but not required

  • Proficient with Salesforce, Partner Central, and the Microsoft suite, including Excel, Word, OneNote, and PowerPoint

The total cash range for this position in Austin is $146,000.00 to $204,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $233,500.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
