Sr. Product Manager will have creative skills and is detail-oriented to find patterns and issues. This role will oversee the development process by cooperating with design teams, operational leaders, finance teams, and engineering. As Sr. Product Manager, you will work on product plans, project plans, and project development concepts. You’ll be developing a business strategy following the product strategy. Project Management duties will include making budgets, work plans, and ensuring cross department teamwork. The Sr. Project Manager will also ensure that product lifecycle deadlines are met, product development stages are completed on time, and that communication is clear for all stakeholders. The role will also analyze and report out product data for effective launches.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Manage existing product line for assigned product(s)
  • Champion the development and introduction of new products to meet current and future customer needs (collaborate between engineering, operations, marketing, customer experience teams and sales to ensure all appropriate stakeholders are involved)
  • Responsible for market research, competitive tracking, quoting, and reporting financial data
  • Support the sales force through product training, research, and competitive analysis
  • Work on cost saving initiatives with the operations team
  • Champion development and introduction of new products to meet current and future customer needs
  • Assist with product quality complaints from customers
  • Set pricing strategy for assigned product(s) with the assistance of the commercial finance team
  • Provide forecasting for assigned product line(s)
  • Work with Supply Chain on obsolete inventory and programed inventory
  • Travel up to 30%
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • S. Business or Marketing or other appropriate undergraduate degree
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience in executing processes for identifying customer needs and arranging for goods and services to fulfill those needs
  • Proven ability to define and set up processes, tools, and techniques for exploring and exploiting potential areas for business growth
  • Industry knowledge preferred (package, design, distribution of packaging, packaging products, paper products, flexible packaging)
  • Knowledge of tools, techniques for collecting, collating, and analyzing information about existing or potential markets and market needs
  • Knowledge of options and opportunities to advertise organization's products, services, and reputation
  • Knowledge of and ability to utilize customer profile and information

Skills/ Competencies
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to make professional sales presentations
  • Ability to lead by influence across the organization
  • Can present ideas and information to customers, internal and external with a strong leadership presence
  • Proven ability to multi-task multiple projects and manage to completion
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics CRM is a plus
