Job Description:
About the Role:
Responsible for leading in-plant deployment of new routines in lean processes, site teams, in proper development and execution of Daily Management Systems and enable plant leaders to roll-out process to remainder of lines in plant.
Program deployment
- Oversee deployment of TMOS Daily Management Systems
- Meetings and huddles, centerline management, rapid changeover, problem solving tools, clean-inspect-lubricate, defect handling, maintenance planning and scheduling and others where applicable
- Teach teams how to utilize new tools and routines, ensure LCTs or performance improvement teams can execute and teach routines independently
- Initiate pillar meeting cadence and integrate reports into weekly steering meeting
Oversee centralized training program
- Develop and coordinate TMOS for line-centric and site teams
- Coordinate trainings from deployment teams across sites and assist in development of program content
Design and implement KPI reporting
- Lead program reporting activities (KPI tracking, goal setting, impact valuation)
- Plan and schedule update meetings with senior management to review pain points and develop solutions
- Engage with teams to ensure data accuracy and integrity
Influence program strategic direction
- Oversee objectives and adjust priorities to deliver Lean value ambitions
Important Details: This is a full-time permanent role that is fully remote, but requires travel to manufacturing plant locations.
About You:
You’ll fit right in if you have:
- Ability to travel to sites weekly Monday-Thursday when needed to provide on-site support
- Minimum 1 – 3 years’ experience with Manufacturing leadership
- Strong leadership and program management
- Proven presentation and communication skills
- Experience and understanding of TMOS (Lean / six sigma)
- Proven data and analytics skills
- CI knowledge and experience
- Experience leading and coaching teams
- Knowledge / expertise of area processes and systems
- Demonstrates good analytical, problem-solving skills and ability to drive insights
- Demonstrates ability to overcome ambiguous and complex situations
- Brings strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Experience and understanding of Lean Production System principles
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work well and communicate with others
