Senior Logistics Specialist

Location: Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD

Job Description:

• Serves as subject matter expert on all matters regarding logistics
• Develops, performs, and coordinates:
• Logistics management
• Logistics planning
• Logistics coordination
• Logistics Execution
• Liaise between various PMs and PEOs in development and execution of all logistics program activities during the life cycle of product
• Coordinates efforts between logistics team including subcontractors and field service personnel
• Oversees planning, implementation, and delivery of
• New equipment training
• New equipment fielding
• New equipment testing
• New Equipment demonstration
• Performs the full range of planning, liaison, equipment, and control of logistics phases of field exercises and tests
• Develops, interprets and/or applies a wide range of DOD, Army and PEO acquisition and logistics polices, directives and precedents
• Evaluates, plans, develops, and assures the implementation of corrective action and changes to reflect new requirements, technologies, and safety concerns

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or 4+ years of experience as Sr. Logistics Specialist
• 10+ years of relevant work experience
• 5+ years of experience in logistics support activities
• 25% travel requirement between Army and contractor locations

Clearance: Active DoD TS/SCI

Salary: $110,000-$150,000
