Summary:
We seek a talented Sr. IT Systems Administrator who is an open-minded self-starter to help our team achieve amazing support for our organization. You will be part of a central support organization tasked with managing and evolving our data center infrastructure. You will also have the opportunity to increase the efficiency of our current processes by developing new tools and applications.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, implementation, and management of Network Services, Windows & Linux Servers in colocation and on-prem facilities that are home to mission critical infrastructure
- Manage the deployment of Servers, Storage, Network, and Virtual Compute Infrastructure
- Work cross functionally to build and scale solutions offered by the IT team.
- Monitor the health of the infrastructure and implement best practices
- Liaise w/ 3rd party network/wan partners globally
- Provide 24x7 support
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience as a Systems Administrator
- At least 5 years of experience as a Network/Security Administrator
- At least 5 years administering Windows, Linux, OSX, and Virtual environments
- Experience working with firewalls, load balancers, switches, and routers
- Scripting – Example - PowerShell, Ansible, PHP, BASH
- Ability to implement and manage AD, DNS, and VMware virtual compute environments
- Ability to lead/manage projects
- Able to work independently and lead/complete projects as per guidelines
- Participate in off-hours, weekends, and holiday on-call support
- Light travel as needed (1-2 times a year)
Desirable Skills/Knowledge:
- Excellent knowledge of Server technologies, Virtualization and Storage concepts
- Excellent knowledge of Active Directory and DNS
- Excellent knowledge of Cisco networking, BGP & OSPF routing, and switching
- Excellent knowledge of Palo Alto Firewalls
- Working knowledge with A10 Load balancers
- Experiencing working with Cloud Based environments (AWS/Azure)
- Experience with Scripting
