Summary

As a gearbox design engineer at SERES you are expected to have relevant experience and be able to develop advanced gearbox for EV application.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electric vehicle gearbox design, with a focus on NVH.
• Strong knowledge of NVH theory and principles, as well as experience with NVH testing and analysis.
• Proficiency in gear design software (e.g., KISSsoft, Romax, AGMA), as well as CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA) and FEA software (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus).
• Experience with designing gears, bearings, and other gearbox components.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in correlating testing results with simulation results.
• Previous direct involvement in product launch or manufacturing support for mass production.
