What you’ll be doing:
The Sr. Data Analyst role is responsible working across departments to develop meaning analytics and tools to help drive projects, and performance. Creates visualization of results with executive summaries for the staffing operations leaders to use to run the business. Focus on data extraction, organization, analysis, trending, and reporting as it relates to administering relevant incentive plans and other metrics within the Staffing Operations organization. This role will work in collaboration with the subject matter experts in Recruiting, Credentialing and Scheduling to ensure performance data is monitored, analyzed and trends are observed and communicated timely to Staffing Operations Leadership. This analyst will perform research, build & analyze complex datasets, present findings, and recommend changes and/or take actions based on numerous factors.

  • Manages complex analyses based on operational and financial data to measure the performance of the operating unit, evaluate potential operational changes and/or provide insights on business strategy impacts. Conceptualizes and designs innovative models to assess viability of strategic and tactical initiatives and programs.
  • Develops data driven models to evaluate and increase product/service profitability. Research, hypothesize and develop analytical approaches for identifying, analyzing, and interpreting trends or patterns in complex data sets. Identifies business processes to review, analyzing information to identify trends, patterns, gaps, and insights using descriptive analytics.
  • Develop benchmarks, robust reporting, interactive dashboards, and key metrics across business channels to drive strategic planning, optimize profitability, revenue, and sales growth
  • Uses data to build the business case for making a change to current practices, programs, or procedures. Partners with stakeholders on the design, testing, implementation, and evaluation of business process changes to improve business outcomes. May lead or provide support to the implementation and evaluation of complex business process changes.
  • Develops, updates, and analyzes metrics used to determine operational performance, staffing needs, productivity, strategy shift impacts, or other measures deemed valuable to the organization.
  • Provide analysis, insights, and strategic recommendations to support business planning process.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the business, its data, and its patterns to support informed and actionable business decisions.
  • Collect and organize performance data for Recruiting, Credentialing and Scheduling (RC&S) SMEs.
  • Manage data extraction from Salesforce and Bullhorn.
  • Manage data extraction, calculation, analytics, and payout of Recruiter and Scheduler incentives.
  • Maintain data trends to help monitor key performance on a regular basis.
  • Delivers routine daily/weekly/monthly reporting and responds to basic to intermediate ad hoc data requests.


Who/What we are looking for:

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, Math or related quantitative field of study, Master’s degree preferred
    • You have 8 years of direct Data Analyst specific experience
    • You have advance research, problem solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
    • You have advanced business operations knowledge to include understanding the function’s value chain and market conditions
    • You have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships, persuade, inform, and influence others based on findings; ability to collaborate effectively across the organization with diverse teams
    • You have Strong ability to support change and impart value within an organization
    • Strong project management skills as part of implementing business process changes
    • You have advanced knowledge of available data sources, strengths, and shortcomings.
    • You have advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), Adobe, Tableau and Power BI) and MicroStrategy
    • You have ability to manage multiple projects ranging in complexity in a deadline driven environment
    • You have experience with Workday, Salesforce, or Bullhorn – that’s a plus!
    • Previous experience working in healthcare or staffing industry, a plus
