JOB SUMMARY:

The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for engaging with the business on behalf of the Technology and Digital project team, and providing technical guidance and oversight. The Senior Business Analyst works to understand complex business needs and define technology and service requirements to maximize delivery of business value. The Senior Business Analyst translates business needs into requirements that Technology and Digital teams can use to design and develop solutions. The Senior BA ensures the required outcomes are built, tested and delivered. The Senior Business Analyst is also responsible for coaching and guiding other Business Analysts in business requirements gathering, as well as developing best practices in business analysis.

You will:

• Partner with business and project team to effectively communicate and deliver results
• Design and creates executive level updates and documents to communicate project and portfolio status
• Utilize communication skills to work with cross-functional work teams; understanding tasks and responsibilities; providing direction and motivation to others.
• Balance multiple high priority items to provide deliverables on or before due date
• Keep team on track by effectively facilitating meetings, recapping next steps/action items, and consistently following up to drive outcomes.
• Provide some technical guidance and oversight. Leads in moderately complex analysis, providing guidance and oversight.
• Support the development of business analysis best practices for the organization. Mentors team members on best practices and standards. Recommends improvements to processes and technology that improve the effectiveness of the team.
• Support the Project Manager in post-implementation reviews and incorporates lessons learned into future work.

You have:

• Four-year degree in field such as Information Technology, Business, or similar field or related work experience.
• Experience (5+ years) as a Business Analyst across a number of projects, or similar work experience
• Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Past experiences working with cross-functional work teams; understanding tasks and responsibilities; providing direction and motivation to others.
