SQL Developer Job at Amalgamated Life Insurance
Amalgamated Life is looking for a SQL Developer who has a passion for analyzing data, working with software and learning new technologies. The developer will be working directly with experience leads, developers, and business resources to deliver quality solutions. You will be part of a team that will be migrating the business into the cloud. You will be involved with designing, implementing and working in various systems.
- Good analytical, writing and verbal skills
- Experience with data integrations and migrations
- Understanding and experience with full application development life cycle
- Knowledge of Claims, Insurance or Pension is a plus
- Knowledge of programming languages is a plus (Java, Python, PowerShell, Bash, etc.)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or similar field or equivalent experience
- Experience designing, developing and testing programs (packages, procedures, functions, triggers) in Oracle
- Experience with writing clean, efficient code and performance tuning.
- Experience with complex queries and data models
- Oracle PL/SQL and SQL Server T-SQL development experience
