Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Pediatrics / Schools CFY Job at Comp Resource Group
Comp Resource Group (CRG) has been retained by War Memorial/My Michigan Health Hospital located in the Eastern Upper Peninsula of Michigan to help interview and hire a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their team.
About the SLP Position:
Currently the department has 18 SLPS across the Rehabilitation Dept. You will be working in a K-8 local school District Overseeing school-aged children k-8, working with IEPs (Individualized education plan); also, will be cross-trained in acute and LTC; you will work alongside PTs, OTs, and education coordinators of the district. The Speech and Language Pathologist directs patient participation and selected tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance performance as well as facilitate the running of these skills to promote functional independence.
Speech Language Pathologist Job Qualifications:
- Completion of a Master’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology approved by the ASHA.
- Possession of or in the process of completing certification of clinical competency as determined by the ASHA.
- Valid state licensure/regulation as determined by Michigan State regulations.
- Must have a valid Michigan Driver’s License.
SLP Compensation:
- Salary up to $88,000
