Reports to: Special Education DirectorJob Goal: To provide language, articulation, communication, voice and fluency therapy to general and special education students as assigned; to complete speech and language evaluations; to interpret test results to parents and services providers; to write appropriate goals and objectives for special education plans when called upon; and to serve as the primary special education liaison to assigned students.Education, Licensure Required: Masters degree in speech and language pathology and state licensure as a speech and language pathologist. Certification by the Massachusetts Department of Education as a speech and language pathologist.Performance Responsibilities: Administer screening tests and diagnostic assessmentsParticipate in team evaluations and Special Education Team meetingsDevelop Speech and Language student goals and objectivesCollect and report on data relative to student performances and progress
