About This Role

We're looking for a great all-around person excited to join our small but mighty Wholesale Sales team as our new Specialty Sales Rep. Your job is to open new specialty retail accounts and grow our brand presence in key markets on the mainland. You’ll start by working with our VP of Retail and Wholesale to develop a list of potential sales opportunities. Then it’s up to you to tell our story to new retail accounts. We are looking for a person who is eager to introduce new specialty retail stores to our line of Aloha shirts and can help grow Reyn Spooner’s brand presence in key markets. You will spend about 25% of your time traveling to trade shows and meeting with retail accounts, and the other 75% of your time working from a desk - sometimes at our Design Studio in Pasadena, and other times from your office at home.

What You’ll Do

• Identify new business opportunities, cold calling new potential accounts
• Develop sales strategies to increase sales through new accounts and growing existing accounts
• Make and attend appointments with existing and potential accounts
• Travel to trade shows, market weeks and road appointments
• Monitor sales from order creation to shipping
• Visit existing and potential customers to evaluate needs or promote products and services
• Follow up with customer needs, answering customer questions, identifying replenishment needs and over-delivering to the customer’s expectations

Our Must Have’s

• At least 1-year of wholesale sales experience and an understanding of the sales process and its dynamics
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to establish and maintain relationships, both internally and externally
• A goal-oriented and sales driven personality that enjoys prospecting for new accounts
• Detailed and excellent follow through
• Proficiency in Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook
• Willingness to travel
• Apparel industry experience
