We are hiring a friendly and detail oriented Special Events & Group Sales Assistant to join our team. Our Special Events & Group Sales Assistants are guest centered people who facilitate group experiences for the Johnny Morris Foundation which includes Ancient Ozarks Natural History Museum, the Lost Canyon Cave Trail, Dogwood Canyon, Wonders of Wildlife, and other conservation attraction properties. Our Special Events & Group Sales Assistants get to facilitate in some very special events and know that they are helping others create lifelong memories.

A day in the life of a Special Events & Group Sales Assistant

A Special Events & Group Sales Assistant will respond to telephone inquiries by determining client's needs and specifications for referral to sales managers. Properly convey rate and package information within approved limits to maximize and protect our overall JMCA revenue yields. Type and distribute all correspondence, including proposals, booking notices, letters, contracts, banquet event orders etc. for assigned managers, ensuring that all correspondence is 100% accurate. A Special Events & Group Sales Assistant will also Sales Team with all site preparation and support with sales kits / brochures etc.
