Bridgeline Staffing is seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher for a full-time position near Great Barrington, MA. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing a positive and inclusive learning environment for students with diverse needs and abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
- Collaborate with other teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure the best possible outcomes for students
- Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
- Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for students
- Promote positive behavior and social skills development
- Participate in school-wide initiatives and professional development opportunities
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education
- Massachusetts Special Education certification
- Prior experience as a Special Education Teacher
- Strong knowledge of best practices and current trends in special education
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators and support staff
