Job Description:
The SOX, Senior Analyst is a position within the company’s Global Audit & Assurance function that will report to the SOX, Senior Manager. This role is a key support function within the company’s Global SOX program management organization and will be responsible for executing annual planning and scoping efforts for SOX as well as supporting the project management of the global testing program. This role plays a key support function in the drafting and issuance of relevant SOX policies and guidance, managing the process for centralized deficiency evaluation/reporting, and monitoring deficiency remediation.
The SOX, Senior Analyst will support all key activities and tasks required to maintain the operations of the enterprise’s Global SOX Program and enable the successful reporting requirements of the executive leadership’s SOX certification. Key responsibilities include:
SOX Program Management – Support the SOX Senior Manager in the coordination of the annual and continuous SOX program. The position will support the enterprise annual SOX scoping model, maintain Risk Control Matrices for key controls and Annual SOX Guidelines. Coordinate the preparation of documentation to evidence management's attestation of SOX compliance and support executive management's quarterly and annual certification. Partner closely with Management to ensure appropriate coverage for SOX testing, including but not limited to, Entity-Level controls, business process controls, and IT Controls. Perform continuous due diligence reviews to monitor compliance with SOX testing guidance.
Stakeholder Management – This position will work closely with Management to ensure appropriate coverage for SOX Testing. Provide guidance and support as a subject matter expert to process owners for any implementation or remediation activities, including associated documentation. Coordinate with Business Owners and Control Owners to ensure that internal controls over financial reporting are effectively designed and sufficiently documented within the Company’s SOX documentation. Partner with internal and external stakeholders to provide SOX-404 control and testing guidance.
Global SOX Program Governance – Responsible for data maintenance and governance for SOX-404 IT and Financial controls, tests, and issues to enable reliable and timely management reporting.
Quality Management – Assist in the development and delivery of SOX training and/or training materials to internal and external stakeholders. Execute maintenance activities to ensure materials are up to date with enterprise policies, procedures, and established industry standards & methods.
Qualifications
Position Requirements (Consider and identify requirements potential applicants must meet to be considered for the position):
A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
A minimum of 2 years of professional working experience in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology and/or Auditing
Excellent analytical and technical (e.g., Accounting, Excel) skills.
Ability to partner with associates at all levels of the organization.
Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal and influencing skills.
Works well in a dynamic environment; be able to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Highly motivated individual with strong analytical skills, intellectual curiosity, communication skills, and proven leadership capabilities.
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $101,000 to $116,150
