We are looking for a professional and motivated Sous Chef to join our talented culinary team. The Sous Chef is responsible for managing and organizing the kitchen and ensuring that all food is prepared in accordance with our health, safety, sanitation and quality standards. This position requires a high level of organization to ensure that the kitchen staff receives direction and works together in a smooth, efficient manner.
Responsibilities:
- Understand the principles of safe food preparation and handle food in a sanitary manner.
- Create clear, concise, and accurate recipes.
- Be punctual.
- Manage the organization of kitchen personnel and schedule them to ensure consistent operations.
- Function effectively under stress.
- Communicate effectively with co-workers and general managers.
- Lead others by example.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
