Position Summary: The Sourcing Manager is responsible for managing a large portfolio of contracts. Collaborates with numerous departments to manage the overall contract process, including collecting relevant information prior to sourcing, negotiating terms, conditions and pricing, ensuring contracts are renewed in a timely manner, and providing timely updates to key stakeholders throughout the process. progress. Maintains records of all savings initiatives and reviews opportunities to provide additional savings where possible. Manages the request for proposal (RFP) process, performing a bid analysis in collaboration with department leaders, assuring savings targets are met and/or exceeded, negotiating best price, and contracting. Works within established policies and procedures to ensure top quality partnerships at the best possible value. Leads the planning on implementation for major sourcing projects.

- Operationalizes contract management process.
- Responsible for effectiveness (cost improvement, efficiency (smooth operational buying and logistics process) and control (risk mitigation).
- Accountable for achieving category cost savings target to meet company targets.
- Identifies savings through supplier engagement, improved pricing, decreased utilization and/or process improvement.
- Manages the RFP process for all applicable initiatives.
- Works collaboratively on interdepartmental projects as needed.
- Training staff on relevant sourcing management software.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Associate’s degree preferred.
- 3-5 years job related experience. Sourcing experience preferred.
- Exceptional communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills.
- Personal confidence with strong ability to instill confidence in others.
- Builds effective, strong personal relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.
- Excellent skills in leading cross-business and cross-functional teams to deliver results.
- Project management skills.
- Ability to drive change, optimizing resources and utilization.
- Experience in National Purchasing Organizations (GPOs) and with Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs).
- Visual acuity and hand-finger dexterity to work at computer for extended periods.
- Lift and carry, with both hands, weights up to 20 pounds for distances up to 50 yards.
- Lift a weight up to 50 pounds from the floor to an approximate height of four feet.
- Stand for extended periods of time.
- Work well under pressure or in stressful circumstances.
- Will have exposure to biohazard substances and hazardous chemicals
- Be familiar with and adhere to safety, ergonomic and health policies of the Company.
- Comply with all PPE requirements when in the laboratory or other biohazard areas.
- Complete required safety training and health evaluations in a timely manner.
- Anticipate safety hazards, act upon unsafe situations and promote safety awareness.
