Solar Installer -- Locations Vary
Solar Alchemy, Inc., is a small Photovoltaic system design and installation company based in Sullivan County, NY. We are currently looking for an Independent Contractor to work with us in all phases of ground and roof mounted grid-tied, bi-modal and stand-alone PV installations, primarily in Sullivan, Orange, Ulster and Dutchess Counties in New York State.
You must be comfortable with heights and working outdoors.
We would prefer Contractors who possess the following skills:
Some knowledge of Photovoltaics;
Ability to follow instructions;
Some carpentry / roofing skills;
Good tool management skills;
Good people skills;
Strong work ethic;
Sharp math skills;
Reliable transportation; and
Ability to comply with OSHA rules.
The position is part time, with days varying between Monday through Friday (depending on your schedule, available work and weather) from 9 A.M. until dark, with a pay range from $15 to $25 an hour, depending on skills and/or experience. Must have reliable transportation and references. This is a 1099 position.
Must show proof of Covid vaccination.
