Position Description

Works at residential sites performing tasks such as installing photovoltaic (PV) solar systems. Responsibilities include assembling, install, or maintaining solar photovoltaic (PV) systems on roofs or other structures in compliance with site assessment, blueprints and schematics. May include measuring, cutting, assembling, and bolting structural framing and solar modules. May perform minor electrical work such as current checks.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Assemble all components of photovoltaic solar systems
• Electrically wire solar AC/DC system
• Structurally mount racking and electrical equipment
• Maintain inventory of equipment for each solar installation
• Adheres to all safety protocol, rules, regulations and guidelines
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 6 months related experience
• Electrical and roof racking experience preferred
• Must have a valid state driver's license
• Must be 21 years old and have a clean driving record
• Ability to adhere to and ensure team adheres to all safety policies, procedures and guidelines
• Motivated with an attention to detail, safety and productivity
• Must be willing and have the ability to climb ladders, stairs, work on rooftops of single or multiple story buildings and structures
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient electronic and computer skills (iPad, smartphone, personal computer systems, digital camera)
• Proficient with email, google applications and ability to learn and use company CRM
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to meet physical demands throughout assigned workday
• Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment

Physical Demands

• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds throughout the workday
• Ability to work at heights
• Ability to climb ladders, stairs, scaffolds, poles and work on rooftops of single and multiple story homes and buildings
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift, pull and push materials and equipment to, from and on job site
• Ability to work in extreme climate environments such as hot sun, cold weather, rain, crawl spaces and etc.

Schedule:

• Monday to Thursday
• Day shift
• 10 hour shift

Pay:

$18.00 - $28.00 per hour
