What will you do?

• Our Software Quality Assurance Engineer candidate will be part of an agile team that is designing, developing, testing and maintaining our web-based and server-based laboratory information system (LIS). This position offers a challenging career to work on programs that interface with multiple systems including other Laboratory Information Systems, specimen analyzers, EHR/EMR systems, and clearinghouses.
• Help test, and maintain the software in accordance with functional requirements and scope of work
• Contribute to team discussions
• Focus on quality and continuous improvement of applications and processes
• Step up when the situation demands such as meeting deadlines and resolving critical production issues
• Ensure project timelines are met
• Engage with customer conversations on product suggestions and design changes

How will you get here?

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent

Experience

• 2 years of C or C++ development
• 2 years of work experience or good knowledge of software development project management
• Experience with unit testing and test automation tools in a Linux environment
• Hands-on experience in Linux/Unix OS
• Experience using RESTful APIs

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $70,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
