POSITION SUMMARY

The Software Developer will use software development skills to write software and enhance systems integration at FPI Management, and develop critical systems at FPI that deliver business insights through data analytics, task automation, web dashboards, and reporting. Development work will be dictated by the Chief Information Officer and by the Executive Management team to fit the needs of the business. This role is often tasked with high impact and time sensitive duties such as payroll or company financial transactions and will need to work well under pressure. The software developer will routinely write integrations to other 3rd party software leveraging APIs or data files, process files for ingest into our databases, create reporting, and look to automate tasks to increase efficiency and data accuracy.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Hourly Compensation $55 - $55
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar software development role.
• High School diploma or equivalency certificate.
• Valid Driver’s License and insured operable vehicle.
• Must be proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
• Strong experience in SQL (MS SQL Server / SSIS / SSRS) and NoSQL Database (MongoDB) technologies, queries, and CRUD operations.
• Proficiency in Python scripting.
• Experience developing in JavaScript and related Web frameworks (React, Angular, Meteor, etc.) to build new web applications and extend existing web apps.
• Experience at designing and building full stack Web applications and APIs. Web authentication, API authentication, and user management to keep data secure are essential.
• Experience with GIT/GitHub for version control.
• Analytical thinker and problem-solving capability.
• Excellent understanding of software design and development principals, documentation, software testing principles, and code comments.
• Experienced with infrastructure and code deployment in a cloud/hybrid environment; AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and On-Prem infrastructure.
• A team player with excellent communication skills. Willingness to constantly learn new skills, try new things, and push the boundaries of your comfort zone.
