SOFTWARE DEVELOPER I
Cambridge Innovation Institute (CII) is redefining its core applications using modern development practices to solve complex software challenges and streamline our data management and workflow infrastructure.
We’re seeking a collaborative, innovative Software Developer with Angular experience to join our staff. Reporting to a Sr. Software Developer and working alongside other software developers, this position is responsible for implementing innovative solutions using modern design patterns, and participating in requirements-gathering and task-prioritization meetings.
This is a prime opportunity to learn from seasoned software development professionals and use your rich skill set to build an energetic yet balanced environment with a cross-functional, collaborative team of developers.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the cross-functional teams to implement application requirements and specifications
- Develop and maintain web applications and related services using modern design patterns, industry best practices, and internal standards
- Manage and own assigned projects effectively and efficiently
- Share business or technical information with colleagues
- Assist other developers on the team
- Other duties as necessary to ensure business success
Required Knowledge & Experience:
- Front-end SPA web UI development: Angular is preferred, React or Vue is acceptable
- .NET Framework, including Visual Studio, C#, ASP.NET, .NET, Entity Framework, and MS SQL
- MVC and Web API
- UI web toolset, e.g., PrimeNg and/or Kendo UI
- Version control software TFS, GIT, Subversion
- Firm understanding and knowledge of commonly used software patterns (e.g. Repository or Unit of Work)
- Experience designing and working with n-tier architectures
- Ability to develop user interfaces, APIs, and data structures to implement components from technical specification documentation
- Follows SOLID principles
Basic Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, related discipline, or equivalent experience
- 1-2 years of software development experience
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in .NET Web development using C# with SPA frontend

- Strongly self-directed, proactive, organized, and engaging with the software group
- Must be results oriented and a motivated self-starter with a strong sense of urgency
- Team player who can establish excellent working relationships with peers and other teams
