SOFTWARE CODER

National industrial distribution company located in Addison, IL has their own sophisticated proprietary software and is seeking an experienced software coder to help continue to develop and improve.

This position works in the Addison, IL office - it is NOT remote. Salary around $55,000 but negotiable depending on experience.

Foundational knowledge of HTML and CSS needed

Have an understanding of what CPQ software is, or be willing to learn how to use it

Properly administer and train others on our software.

Individual should be a self motivated independent worker who can identify and execute what needs to be accomplished without micromanagement or close supervision.

Candidate should know what their own limitations are or be able to admit when they don’t know somethingso they can rely on their team for support.

Requirements

Strong computer skills, including web development applications

Basic business applications and tasks

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

Be eager to learn, and good at researching information

Preferred Skills

Adobe Photoshop / Adobe Illustrator experience

Foundational knowledge of HTML, CSS

Industrial or mechanical engineering background
