Job Description: We are looking for a highly motivated School-Based Social Worker who can effectively support the social and emotional needs of students in a remote learning environment. As a Remote School-Based Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing counseling, crisis intervention, and resource coordination to ensure the well-being and academic success of students.

Responsibilities:

Conduct virtual assessments to identify students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
Provide individual and group counseling services to students through video conferencing platforms.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement individualized support plans.
Offer crisis intervention services to students experiencing emotional distress or challenging situations.
Connect students and families with appropriate community resources and services.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student interactions and progress.
Participate in virtual meetings and consultations with colleagues and supervisors.
Stay informed about best practices in remote counseling and implement them in daily work.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Social Work or a related field.
Valid social work license or certification (LCSW, LMSW, or equivalent).
Experience working as a school-based social worker or in a similar role.
Proficiency in using virtual platforms and technology for remote counseling.
Strong understanding of child development, mental health issues, and trauma-informed care.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
Compassion, empathy, and a genuine desire to help students succeed.
