Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communications, Advertising, Journalism, Public Relations, Digital Communications, Marketing or a related field required; supplemented by 2 years of experience in public relations, writing, photography, videography or social media management experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.
Specific License or Certification Required: Must possess and maintain a valid Georgia driver's license.
Specific Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities: Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in performance of the essential functions and learn, comprehend, and apply all county or departmental policies, practices, and procedures necessary to function effectively in the position.
Responsible for daily coordination of content and reporting for Fulton County's official social media platforms, and serving as a content editor for the Fulton County website.
Essential Functions:

Creates content Fulton County social media platforms, including photos, graphics, video and text; Develops social media strategies, plans and reports. Produces other digital content as needed.
Coordinates social media feeds and other content on the Fulton County website.
Develops and implement county-wide social media and communication campaigns. Monitors effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media programs and analyzes, reviews, and reports on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results; track performance of digital content and develop monthly reports regarding performance of digital properties.
Ensures that digital content meets all applicable branding standards, plain language standards, style guidelines and reflects organizational values and priorities; implements strategy for content tagging and search engine optimization.
Provides regular feedback and insights gained from social media monitoring to stakeholders to help them evolve their strategies in a timely fashion.
Operates a personal computer, cell phone, and other equipment to enter, retrieve, review or modify data, utilizing word processing, design, editing, spreadsheet, database, presentation, Internet, e-mail, social media platforms or other software: and operates general office or other equipment as necessary to complete essential functions.
Communicates with County officials and department heads, supervisor, other employees, third party service contractors, the public, and other individuals as needed to coordinate work activities, review status of work, exchange information, or resolve problems.

Situational Reasoning: Requires the ability to exercise judgment, decisiveness and creativity in situations involving broader aspects of organizational programs and operations, moderately unstable situations, or the direction, control and planning of an
entire program or set of programs.
