Various technology knowledge required, including Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office. Social media management software, i.e. Sprout, Sprinklr, Hootsuite, preferred.

Under general supervision, creates, designs, and executes content, images and videos for Brookdale’s social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and Instagram and assists with compliance, governance and training for overall company social media program.
- Assists with checking and responding to emails in social@brookdale.com mailbox including local community questions and vendor inquiries; forwards to appropriate associates for follow up or follows up appropriately.
- Provides limited guidance and support to less experienced social media users at communities for Facebook pages, including training.
- Monitors community Facebook pages for compliance and activity levels, enforce standards, and make recommendations for non-compliant pages.
- Working with a Manager, reviews, edits, and approves local community outbound content.
- Working with a Manager, creates a variety content for outbound posts as needed including editing imagery and videos.
- Grows to learn social media best practices across platforms, assists with managing as directed. Assists with research related to expected business and user-benefits and potential limitations of social networking platforms.
- Provides input to strategies to promote the organization’s product lines through social media.
- Working with a Manager makes recommendations on handling negative comments, and guides conversations with customers at the local level.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Advertising Design, Communications, Marketing, or other related field required. One year of experience in related field; social media preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
