Qualifications 1. Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and/or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).2. Master's Degree from an accredited college or university, preferred. Evidence of specific professional study in the field of special education, psychology, social work, including educational administration and supervision.3. 3-5 years of experience in the area of Special Education/ Student Services.4. 3-5 years of experience in the area of mental health clinical or BCBA practice.5. Knowledge/experience using the new educator evaluation system.6. Experience designing and implementing new special education programs, positive behavioral intervention strategies, social/emotional curriculum, behavior improvement programs and clinical support and case management for students and families.7. Experience working with community based mental health agencies, Department of Child & Family Services, Department of Youth Services, Department of Mental Health, and other community programs to integrate and coordinate services for students in the Middleborough Public Schools.8. Experience with facilitating Families and Community Together with Schools (FACTS) Teams in the schools; and develop plans for expansion to all schools.9. CPI Trained: and willing to become a certified instructor.10. Understanding of requirements for DESE mandated restraint training and experience working with schools to complete the training process. 11. Excellent communication skills- written, verbal and non-verbal.12. Experience in crisis intervention and SOS (Signs of Suicide) and participate on the districts Crisis Response Team.13. Excellent interpersonal and social skills with colleagues, district staff, families and community.14. Excellent Work Attendance.15.
