Smucker Company Store – Sales and Online Order Fulfillment Representative (Part Time - 6 Openings)
The Smucker Company Store, Sales and Order Fulfillment Representative, will provide first class customer service in a retail and/or warehouse environment. This position will provide flexible part time hours supporting in store and warehouse business and will not be eligible for company benefits. This position will support sales, merchandising, creating displays, inventory control, stocking of product and merchandise, and/or online order fulfillment operations for the Company Store. Based on business needs hours could increase due to seasonal demand or special projects as needed, must be able to work every other Saturday 9 - 5:30.
Primary Tasks and Responsibilities
- Greet and provide quality customer service to all customers
- Maintain a high level of knowledge about all Smucker products and store merchandise
- Process sales transactions at cash register
- Arrange and display merchandise in accordance with store directives
- Restock sales floor and warehouse
- Process online orders including picking product, packing, and shipping orders
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma
- Experience in a retail sales, warehouse, or customer service environment
- Experience with cash register and cash handling
Key Competencies
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Outgoing, personable, and professional demeanor
- Focus to detail
- Ability to lift 30 pounds, climb a ladder or step stool
- Self-motivated, independent worker
- Must work every other Saturday
- Ability to transition/learn different areas of work
