Idaho National Laboratory’s (INL) Computer Systems Engineering group is seeking forward-thinking professionals interested in exploring a career as a Computer Systems Administrator.
Our team works on-site with a 4x10 schedule located at our SMC facility with every Friday off!
Responsibilities Include:
Execution of assigned responsibilities within defined cost, scope and schedule.
Defining and implementing strategic actions that support and enhance the SMC Computer Systems Engineering capabilities and technical base.
Day to day management of assigned work scope and projects.
Lead or support peer reviews of both project and development activities within specific SMC computer science activities.
This position requires that routine tasks be performed independently with minimal supervisory direction.
Minimum Requirements:
Level PR003 - Bachelors Degree in Computer Information Systems or Computer Science or related field and 5 years relevant experience or Masters Degree and 3 years of relevant experience.
Level PR004 - Bachelors Degree in Computer Information Systems or Computer Science or related field and 8 years relevant experience or Masters Degree and 6 year of relevant experience.
13 - 16 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree may be considered.
Relevant experience includes: Windows and Linux system administration, network routing and switching for remote and local users, experience in software and hardware.
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy "Q" clearance, which requires US Citizenship.
Preferred Requirements:
Safety and Health access training along with specific training required for the assigned computer engineering position.
Ability to maintain a baseline security certification and an acceptable computing environment training/certification, for Privileged Users, as specified in DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program.
Job Information
PR0300 Salary Grade 210 ($93,492-$154,212) / PR0400 Salary Grade 220 ($107,520-$177,336).

TDP: This is a testing designated position; you will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and periodic drug testing throughout the term of your employment.
