Skilled Service Technician- Traveling Perks! Job at RT Machine Service, Inc.
RT Machine Service is seeking a SKILLED SERVICE TECHNICIAN to join our woodworking machinery repair and installation team based out of Hughesville, PA.
This position requires travel that may range from local day trips to week-long overnight jobs in and out-of-state. RT Machine Service pays all expenses associated with travel, including take-home company vehicle, monthly cellphone allowance, and daily per diem!

Duties will include testing, repair, service and installation of woodworking machinery.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills:
- Strong mechanical knowledge
- Strong electrical knowledge
- Basic pneumatic knowledge
- Ability to work independently and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Ability to work with customers to assist with machine demonstrations
- Must be able to take direction and instruction from senior level technicians
- Valid, unrestricted driver's license
While not required, the following skills would be a plus:
- Experience with woodworking machinery
- Welding and fabrication experience
- Machining experience
- Technical degree or formal certificate (not required)
