Skilled Industrial Laborer Job at Craftsmen Contractors, LLC
Craftsmen Contractors is seeking a Skilled/Industrial Laborer for the Destrehan, La. area to do some maintenance and chipping paint. The ideal candidate must have some industry experience, can work independently and be able to do some maintenance work and general cleaning. Need someone that can just handle individual tasks given to them and not need to be supervised all of the time nor ask a bunch of questions.
Pay rate is $17/hour and this is a temp to permanent position for the right candidate.
Job Duties:
- Help clean around the job site.
- Chip paint
- Perform required maintenance tasks
- Follow all industry standards and safety regulations.
- Inspect the work area to ensure it is clear of dirt and debris
- Clear the job site and store all equipment correctly
- Follow all safety protocols to prevent damage or injury
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of Skilled Laborer or Industrial Laborer experience required.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Able to stand extended periods and lift at least 50 pounds
- General cleaning and some maintenance work
- Must have ALL PPE. If 1 item of PPE is missing you will not be allowed on the job site.
- Will have to complete company orientation before starting.
