About the Role: We are looking for an eCommerce Manager to join our team at SITKA ® Gear who will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the SitkaGear.com website and the Site Management team. In this role, you will use data, heatmaps, and other engagement tools to brief optimisations into the development and design teams to ensure high conversion, a higher average order value and engagement.
This position offers multiple work arrangements, including on-site at our facility in Bozeman, Montana. Hybrid and fully remote work allowed in most locations within the United States, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs.*
- Work with eCommerce Lead to create strategy for driving the eCommerce business
- Manage the site team to set project priorities and drive them to completion to achieve the eCommerce business strategy
- Analyze online activity in relation to traffic acquisition, sales, conversion and a/b testing and work with the site team to prioritize tasks to increase the KPIs
- Ensure that all product data is on the site including images, descriptions, product details, and prices
- Work with development team to improve site performance and functionality
- Be a Key Owner of all website tools, including eCommerce Platform (Big Commerce), Merchandising and Search tools (Search Spring), Content Managent (Contentful), Analytics and Reporting (Google Analytics/Hotjar) etc
- Develop and manage content calendar and oversee website uploads and build out of landing pages
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a retail eCommerce business with revenues of at least $100 million
- Minimum of 2 years of experience managing an ecommerce team
- Experience with eCommerce Platforms (Big Commerce, WebSphere, Magento etc)
- Experience with Content Management Systems (AEM, Contentful, Salesforce)
- Excellent organizational and project management skills essential
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to quickly shift priorities to achieve business objectives
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience with Big Commerce, Search Spring or Contentful
