This position oversees a home in Spokane, WA

Who or what is Alpha Supported Living Services?

Alpha Supported Living Services is a non-profit agency that provides support services to adults with developmental disabilities.

What Will Your Day Look Like:

• Your primary hours are Monday through Friday with a every other weekend on-call rotation.
• You must be available to respond to emergency program needs Monday through Friday after hours.
• You will need to cover shifts at the home if needed.
• Supervise the provision of participant's health, behavioral, safety, social and medical support services.
• Coordinate, facilitate and assist with participants’ medical and behavioral programs.
• Consistently and accurately maintain client records in compliance with local, state, federal, agency and contractual regulations or requirements.
• Assist with supervision and management of the client's individual and house financial accounts; coordinate with appropriate personnel to protect participants’ financial resources.
• Supervise and oversee the staffing support in the home; work to promote staff cohesion and build positive morale in the workplace.
• Provide personnel supervision to assigned staff.
• Maintain and sustain positive working relationships with participants’ families and friends, guardians, vocational program staff, DDA Case/Resource Manager(s) and other service providers.
• Participate in meetings; attend seminars; complete individual training requirements annually and maintain certifications and licensures, as required.
• Operate personal and/or agency vehicle on a regular basis.

Who We Are Looking For:

• Someone at least 18 years of age
• Has at least a High School Diploma plus 5 years' experience working in long-term care, social services or a related field OR
• OR Associate’s Degree plus 3 years' experience working in long-term care, social services or a related field OR
• OR Bachelor’s Degree plus at least 1 year of experience working in long-term care, social services or a related field
• Possess a valid driver’s license
• Ability to work with vulnerable adults
