Champion success at multiple convenience store, fueling station and car wash locations in a localized area. Provide staff training, promote excellent customer service, develop systems to streamline and simplify processes, monitor and adapt to changes in consumer trends, promote and market the business, and lead by example. This is a multifaceted role working with site managers and retail employees to produce bottom line results and keep facilities clean, safe and operational for both consumers and employees.

Responsibilites

· Select, train, and help retain retail management and customer service employees. Ensure all staff are properly trained on use of point of sale (POS), customer service standards, cash management, safety protocols, closing procedures, routine maintenance expectations, and other day-to-day operational tasks.

· Work with site managers to schedule proper coverage at all sites. Determine and distribute work assignments to optimize available personnel.

· Provide regular constructive feedback to team members to encourage best performance. Address and correct inappropriate and/or unsafe behaviors. Conduct routine performance reviews and work with leadership to properly document personnel actions as needed.

· Review site POS reports. Analyze sales data and recommend product promotions, marketing, and stocking choices to management. Bring focus on merchandise the moves. Prevent shrinkage and control expenses.

· Ensure store inventory is handled, stored, and processed properly to minimize loss or damage.

· Handle escalated customer issues and resolve problems within the stores.

· Ensure maintenance, cleaning and store appearance are up to company standards.

· Maintain store-level compliance with company standards for safety, security, and employment law postings/notifications.

· Ensure equipment is properly maintained and functioning including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and life safety equipment. Coordinate with management and maintenance staff to address preventative maintenance, repairs, and testing in a timely manner. Ensure proper protocol is being followed to prevent accidents or equipment failures.

· Review, improve and streamline processes.

· Perform other store duties, as needed, to ensure smooth operations and to meet customer needs.

Experience

Minimum five years of experience in retail including at least two in a leadership role. Must have excellent leadership and communication skills, be organized, enjoy working with the public and be able to build cohesive, high performing teams. This is a multifaceted role working at multiple fueling station/convenience store locations and influencing site managers’ success, ensuring excellent customer service, improving bottom line performance and keeping facilities clean and safe for both consumers and employees.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year
