SUMMARY OF POSITION

Kinsley is currently seeking personnel for our growing Civil Site team in Dagsboro, DE. Positions include Site Foreman, Pipe Foreman, Equipment operators, and Pipelayers. Successful candidates should possess a willingness to learn, have a good work ethic and a positive attitude. TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

SITE FOREMAN

• Effectively lead, manage, and motivate crews of 5 to 10 individuals
• Successfully manage and schedule subcontractors
• Interpret blueprints, project plans, and specifications
• Plan and schedule for necessary manpower, tools, materials, and equipment needed to complete the job
• Responsible for completing daily timesheets and maintaining daily logs

PIPE FOREMAN

• Effectively lead, manage, and motivate crews of 5 to 10 individuals
• Supervising workers who install pipeline
• Ensuring that all pipe installation jobs are completed on time
• Successfully manage and schedule subcontractors
• Interpret blueprints, project plans, and specifications
• Plan and schedule for necessary manpower, tools, materials, and equipment needed to complete the job
• Responsible for completing daily timesheets and maintaining daily logs

EQUIPMENT OPERATOR

• Operates equipment in compliance with Kinsley’s safety policies and procedures
• Has the ability to operate all types of construction equipment
• Excavates trenches for mainlines such as water, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer
• Pulls trench boxes as necessary
• Ensures company equipment is maintained and in good running condition by greasing and checking fluids
• Demonstrates a working knowledge of all aspects of construction

PIPELAYER

• Installation of new pipes in trench for storm or sanitation sewers, drains, and water mains
• Align pipes in pipeline sections
• Ensure subgrade and pipe are on grade and on line
• Assist in backfilling and running compaction equipment
• Job site hazard recognition

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 5 years of field leadership experience is required for foreman position
• Applicants should possess knowledge of underground utility installation, excavation regulations, and pipeline safety
• Ability to work in a crew-based and fast-paced environment
• Punctuality and dependability are required
• Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods and sometimes in unfavorable weather conditions
• Perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms, legs and moving whole body such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, and handling of materials
• Ability to work both independently and as a team player
• Ability to pass DOT pre-employment physical and drug/alcohol screening
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
